Temporary 30-Day Sanctioning Protocol

Fellow ASCA Members,
The ASCA Board of Directors would like to inform the membership that a 30-day sanctioning protocol is in effect until further notice. This means that Affiliate Clubs will be able to sanction shows/trials just 30 day in advance of the event date. This is a temporary measure to assist Affiliates that have been affected by state or local orders regarding gatherings and “stay in place” restrictions.

We ask that Affiliates review the premium, courses, and paperwork very carefully before sending them to the Business Office. If there are errors, it may not be possible for the Business Office to accommodate the sanctioning within this shorter period. In the case of events that include farm or ranch trials, we recommend that you send a separate premium for them so that the sanctioning of the other events for that weekend can proceed.

Affiliates should include contact persons who will be prompt in responding to inquiries from the Business Office or course reviewers. Any delays in responding to such queries may also impact the Business Office’s ability to turn around the paperwork and sanctioning within this shorter period of 30 days.
